Rubber pads for decking support rails

Rubber pads are suitable for leveling small ground irregularities as well as creating equal load distribution on support rails. They protect support rails from soil water. They are good for bearing support rails made of wood plastic composites, wood or metal. Rubber pads are scentless and have good shock and noise absorbing characteristics. The material is UV and water resistant. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. The operating temperature range is from -40 to +110 C. The density is 1000 kg/m3, Shore A hardness is 60. Breaking strength is 1 millipascal. The material is resistant to gasoline, mineral oil, chlorine, ammonia. Service life is unlimited.

Why porous rubber?

At the beginning of our operations, we experimented with both porous rubber and dense rubber, including TMKSh rubber, as well as dense Chinese rubber (which typically has a very strong, unpleasant odor). In practice, we found that joists placed on dense rubber pads tend to rot faster at the points of contact.

Moisture from the ground and condensation caused by temperature fluctuations have nowhere to escape, which leads to mold and decay in these areas. Porous rubber allows moisture to pass through and dries quickly, making the joists more durable. At the same time, it does not lose its shock-absorbing properties.
